What is it?

Our one-day Emergency First Aid at Work course helps your business meet regulatory requirements by covering essential emergency protocols for your workplace.


This course provides:

  • Basic lifesaving first aid skills

  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations

Why do we need it?

Designed for those seeking training in emergency first aid, this course is ideal for nominated first aiders in low-risk workplaces.


The training complies with the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 and includes:

  • First Aid Priorities

  • Managing Incidents

  • Basic Life Support

  • Casualty Examination

  • Unconsciousness Management

  • Bleeding Control

  • Burns and Scalds Treatment

  • Regulations Overview

  • First Aid Kit Essentials

  • Recording and Reporting Protocols

When should we do it?

While it is not a legal requirement, it is recommended that:

  • First aiders regularly review course materials to maintain their skills.

  • Employers consider offering half-day refresher courses during this period to reinforce knowledge.


Successful candidates will receive a First Aid at Work Certificate, valid for 3 years.

How do we do it?

Our course is delivered by friendly, highly experienced assessors who:

  • Hold HSE-recommended qualifications and teaching credentials.

  • Provide interactive, practical, and theory-based sessions over one day (6 contact hours plus breaks).


The training can accommodate 1 to 12 participants and takes place on-site at your workplace, ensuring convenience and relevance to your environment.
