AED Training 

WHAT

 

This is a half-day AED Training course and is made as informative, yet as enjoyable as possible, thus allowing the students to gain confidence in what is a new and possibly somewhat daunting skill.

Automated External Defibrillation (AED) is well established as the only effective therapy for cardiac arrest. The evidence that supports early defibrillation is overwhelming, the single most determinant of survival being the delay from collapse to delivery of the first shock. The chances of successful defibrillation decline at a rate of 7-10% with each minute. Basic life support may help to sustain a shockable rhythm but is not a definitive treatment.

We offer a comprehensive Automated External Defibrillation (AED) programme based on the necessary theory, backed up with lots of practical sessions.

Our friendly and highly experienced assessors will come to your place of work to carry out the training for 1 to 8 staff 

 

The course is run over half a day and includes both theory and practical sessions, the training is designed to be interactive and focused on providing the knowledge and practice to boost a candidate’s confidence using an Automated External Defibrillation machine.  Helping your company keep up with its health & safety compliance.
